Soundcore Space One Pro
Flyers and loud commutes: lab-measured ANC and a small fold for about $140
Check price on AmazonTypical price: about $140In the Baseus Inspire XH1 vs Soundcore Space One Pro matchup, I’d buy the XH1 unless you fly or ride loud trains often. In October 2026 Amazon sells the XH1 for about $100 and the Space One Pro for about $140. For $40 less, the XH1 lasts longer per charge, keeps your voice steadier on quiet-room calls and ships with a hard case. The Space One Pro earns the extra money for frequent flyers, because it’s the pair with lab-measured noise cancelling, and it folds much smaller.
My pick for each kind of buyer:
- Most people at October 2026 prices: the XH1.
- Frequent flyers and loud train commutes: the Space One Pro.
- Calls from a desk or a quiet room: the XH1.
- Fewest trips to the charger: the XH1.
- Packing into a small bag: the Space One Pro.
- Android with LDAC on two devices at once: the XH1.
- iPhone: the XH1, because LDAC doesn’t apply and calls, comfort and battery decide it.
- Bass lovers happy to use an EQ: the Space One Pro, narrowly.
This page compares the Baseus Inspire XH1 (model A02036, launched September 2025, the first and only generation) with the Soundcore Space One Pro (model A3062, launched September 2024, also the only generation). If you searched it the other way round, Soundcore Space One Pro vs Baseus Inspire XH1, the answer doesn’t change.
Which Soundcore is this? Space One Pro vs Space One vs Space 2
Soundcore’s Space over-ears are easy to mix up. Google’s top result for this matchup, an r/HeadphoneAdvice post, mostly discusses the cheaper Space One, so here’s how the current US lineup compares.
| Model | Launched | List / seen Oct 9, 2026 | What sets it apart |
|---|---|---|---|
| Space One (A3035) | 2023 | $99.99 / $84.99 | Wear-sensor auto-pause, conventional fold, 3 call mics |
| Space One Pro (A3062) | Sept 2024 | $199.99 / $139.99 | FlexiCurve compact fold, Adaptive ANC 3.0 with 6 ANC mics, no wear sensor |
| Space 2 (D1402) | April 2026 (US) | $129.99 / $106.99 | Bluetooth 6.1, LDAC stays on with multipoint, 53 h 21 min ANC-on battery (measured) |
| Space 2 Pro (D1406) | 2026 | $199.99 at soundcore.com | Sits in the Pro’s price tier; Soundcore hasn’t called it a replacement |
The cheaper Space 2 cancels noise about as well as the Pro. SoundGuys measured the same 84% average noise reduction on both. RTINGS rates the Pro’s noise cancelling better in common scenarios but gives the Space 2 better comfort, battery and mic, and finds that the older Space Q45 and Life Q20 (2024) match or beat the Pro’s isolation and mic. The Q45 now sells only renewed in the US; my Soundcore Space Q45 review covers whether that’s worth it.
Baseus Inspire XH1 vs Soundcore Space One Pro: specs side by side
Most rows are maker claims. The XH1’s measured-battery cell stays empty because no lab has run its battery down; the battery section covers what reviewers got in real use.

The “Better” tags mark the side the evidence favors. Noise cancelling goes to the Space One Pro on its published lab results, since nobody has tested the two side by side.
Price and value at October 2026 prices
The XH1 costs less unless you pay full price at Baseus’s own store. On October 9, 2026, Amazon and Walmart listed it at $99.99, while Baseus’s own store listed $149.99 ($129.99 with an on-page code). The Space One Pro cost $139.99 at Amazon, soundcore.com and Best Buy (a Marketplace listing sold by AnkerDirect), against a $199.99 list price, during October 2026 sale promotions. Prices move, so treat those as a snapshot.
The gap depends on where you buy. At list price the XH1 costs $50 less, at Amazon $40 less, and at Baseus’s own store $10 more than the Space One Pro at Amazon ($10 less with Baseus’s on-page code). Here’s my rule for each gap:
- About $100 vs about $140 (October 2026): buy the XH1 unless flight-grade noise cancelling or a small fold tops your list.
- A gap of $20 or less, such as the $110 to $120 that owners report paying for the Space One Pro in past sales: buy the Space One Pro if you fly or ride trains, and the XH1 for calls, comfort and battery.
- The XH1 at $149.99: don’t pay it, since Amazon and Walmart sold it for $99.99 in October 2026.
- The Space One Pro at its $199.99 list: skip it. The Space 2 lists at $129.99 with the same measured noise reduction, and the XH1 costs half as much.
Stick to Cosmic Black or Starlight Off-White on the XH1. On October 9, 2026, the limited Twilight Blue and Sunset Coral had sold out at Baseus US, and Amazon US had only used Twilight Blue units.
Winner on price and value: the XH1.
Sound quality
The XH1 sounds warm, with strong, deep bass and treble that lacks sparkle. It ships with a “Sound by Bose” preset, and Bose tuned the sound but not the noise cancelling. The bass runs exaggerated and the mids sit scooped, though the sub-bass reaches deeper than on plenty of pairs at twice the price. The 8-band EQ can’t fully fix the treble (1:33). Consumer Reports’ visible lab notes rate the sound very good, with deep bass that runs somewhat boomy. Switch ANC on and the bass gets deeper and fuller (2:07).
The Space One Pro comes with a big bass boost, and most people will find the default tuning fatiguing without EQ. RTINGS measured the bass at +7 dB (very emphasized) and the treble slightly low at -3 dB. SoundGuys plots the sub-bass about 10 dB over its target, and its full review measured the boost climbing to about 16 dB around 85 Hz with ANC off. Four audio pros in WIRED’s blind test still ranked it first of six over-ears on one track and called it fun rather than balanced.
The Space One Pro narrowly won the only head-to-head listen. RonOnTech ran it with LDAC and his own EQ on both (plus Baseus’s SoundFit profile on the XH1), Dolby off and music only. He heard comparable mids and highs, needed a couple more volume steps on the XH1 (17:22) and picked the Pro for its slightly punchier bass (22:10). BGR’s XH1 review says the Pro doesn’t sound as good, but that review covered the XH1 alone. To compare the measured curves yourself, this frequency-response graph overlays both.
Both pairs lean bass-heavy out of the box. If you’d rather never open an EQ, I’d lean toward the XH1, because most people find the Space One Pro’s default tuning tiring. If you like punch and don’t mind a few minutes in the app, the Pro has the edge.
Winner on sound: the Space One Pro, by a small margin, based on the only side-by-side listen. Plan on using its EQ.
Noise cancelling and transparency
Noise cancelling
No lab or reviewer has put these two through the same noise test, so each pair has to stand on its own record.
The Space One Pro blocks noise well for the price and falls short of the flagships. Its combined isolation is excellent against everything from engine rumble to voices, and SoundGuys measured 84% average noise reduction with ANC on and 75% passive isolation with it off. How close it gets to the flagships depends on who you ask. DHRME put it close to the Sony WH-1000XM5 on units Soundcore supplied (4:45), Mike O’Brien says it falls well short of Sony and Bose flagships on loud noise (6:10), and RTINGS says the older Sony WH-1000XM4 cancels more.
The XH1 is harder to call, because reviews split hard. It usually pushes steady drones like airplane engines into the background but lets sirens and sharp chatter through (15:34, in a video Baseus sponsored). WIRED rated it almost as effective as the $250 Sennheiser Accentum Plus and Sony ULT WEAR, while SlashGear’s reviewer often struggled to hear movie dialogue over engine noise on two transatlantic flights. No published lab numbers settle it. RTINGS hasn’t reviewed the XH1, and Consumer Reports keeps its score behind a membership, though its visible notes describe excellent noise reduction.
Owners mostly like it, with 33 of 39 Amazon noise-cancelling mentions positive, though one commenter in a long owner discussion scores it 5 or 6 out of 10 against 9 for Sony and Bose.
Fit probably explains part of the split. The XH1’s clamp is light and it blocks almost no noise with ANC off, so the seal, the ANC scene mode you pick and the kind of noise (steady drone or voices) all change the result.
Transparency mode
The XH1’s transparency mode adds hiss or an unnatural tone, and it switches off during calls. WIRED is the outlier. It rated the mode top-tier, and its reviewer heard his own voice clearly. The Space One Pro lets you set transparency from 1 to 5, and its mode beats the Space 2’s. It sounds natural but stays too quiet even at level 5 (7:12).
Winner on noise cancelling and transparency: the Space One Pro, on the weight of the evidence, without a side-by-side test.
Comfort and fit
The XH1 is comfortable but loose. It weighs about 275 g by Baseus’s figure and pairs a light clamp with soft protein-leather pads. Amazon owners like the comfort (46 of 50 comfort mentions are positive) but not the grip (24 of 40 fit mentions are negative), and they describe the headphones sliding when they tilt their head, lie down or move. Several call the clamp too loose, and one with a big head says it shifts when they bend over. Another wears it comfortably with glasses and large ears. The left cup’s inner ANC mic can press on your ear after about an hour until you shift the cup, the cups get warm, and the headband can tug at hair.
The Space One Pro is comfortable for long periods, with a light clamp. It weighs 286.2 g by Soundcore’s figure, and its sound stays consistent with glasses or a larger head. Mashable’s reviewer, who wears glasses, got a tighter fit than with the Space One and a headache after an hour, though that seal blocked café noise better. The headband’s smallest setting runs large, so small heads may struggle (1:35; 3:41). Heat builds up after about an hour, and owners mention warm cups too.
Neither suits the gym. Baseus lists no IP rating for the XH1 (two reviews quote IP66, the rating Baseus published for its XC1 earbuds), Soundcore lists none for the Space One Pro, the Pro gets unstable during vigorous movement, and XH1 owners say it slips.
Winner on comfort: the XH1, for long sessions sitting still. It gives up that edge once you start moving.
Calls and microphones
The XH1 is the better pair for calls from a quiet room. It uses 5 mics with AI noise reduction, and Baseus claims clear calls in noise up to 75 dB(A). WIRED, the one outlet that compared the two directly, says the XH1 kept the reviewer’s voice steadier and clearer than the Space One Pro in quieter settings and let it fade only in very loud noise. CNET graded its calls a B+ or A-. Wind is its weak spot. It stays clear in quiet rooms and around 70 dB of background noise but cuts out in wind (14:32, in the same Baseus-sponsored video). It has no mute button, and transparency switches off during calls, so you won’t hear your own voice naturally in long meetings.
The Space One Pro’s 4 call mics keep your voice intelligible in quiet rooms, but its aggressive noise removal muffles you in moderate noise and loses you completely against loud, steady noise like a vacuum or an arriving subway. Reports split on wind and traffic. DHRME heard a robotic voice in noise and wind on two separate Soundcore-supplied units (7:31), while InsideTech, also on a Soundcore-supplied unit, rated it better than the Space One in wind and traffic, though loud-place calls became almost unusable with sidetone on (6:15). It does let you adjust sidetone, and for office use it hands audio to whichever of your two connected devices starts playing last.
Winner on calls: the XH1. The only direct comparison favors it, and the Space One Pro’s reports split.
Battery life: claims vs measured
Battery life is the XH1’s best trick. Baseus claims up to 100 hours with ANC off, at 50% volume with Dolby and Bass Boost off. The 65-hour ANC-on figure appears on the Amazon and Best Buy listings and in press copy but not in baseus.com’s spec block, and CNET quotes a 50-hour ANC-on rating instead. No lab has run the XH1 down. CNET’s reviewer got about 48 hours with ANC on, Galaxus got about 55 hours with ANC on, and Digital Trends reports two to three weeks of heavy listening per charge. Owners agree, with 33 of 36 Amazon battery mentions positive. Baseus also claims 10 minutes of charging buys about 12 hours, but Galaxus puts it at about 4, so treat the 12 as a claim. You can’t listen while it charges (12:58, in the Baseus-sponsored video).
Soundcore claims 40 hours with ANC on and 60 with it off for the Space One Pro (manual). RTINGS measured 36.1 hours and Cult of Mac got about 43. Soundcore claims a 5-minute charge gives 8 hours (a claim, not a test result), and the Pro can’t play while charging either (3:06).
Every claim and every test puts the XH1 ahead, though a reviewer’s 48-hour rundown and a 36.1-hour lab result use different methods, so don’t read them as a lab-to-lab comparison.
Winner on battery: the XH1.
App, codecs and iPhone vs Android
On Android, the XH1 runs LDAC and two-device multipoint at the same time (17:06 in the same Baseus-sponsored video, plus an owner report from January 2026). The Space One Pro switches off multipoint and Dolby Audio while LDAC is on (soundcore.com), though it adds Google Fast Pair.
The Baseus app gives the XH1 seven presets, an 8-band EQ, Bass Boost and SoundFit, a hearing test that needs a Baseus account (6:45, in another video Baseus sponsored). The Dolby Music and Cinema modes replace your EQ while they’re on, and they don’t flatter music, so I’d leave them off. Baseus claims 80 ms for Low Latency Mode, but the mode won’t run with LDAC. In ZDNET’s review the app froze every time the reviewer opened the custom EQ; that’s one reviewer, and later firmware may have fixed it. Baseus publishes no firmware changelog.
The soundcore app gives the Space One Pro HearID 2.0, more than 20 presets plus a custom EQ, ANC and transparency levels from 1 to 5, wind reduction, adjustable sidetone and voice-triggered Easy Chat. RTINGS measured its Bluetooth latency above 200 ms, and it has no game mode (7:17), so skip it for wireless gaming.
Both have a 3.5 mm jack, neither plays audio over USB-C, and neither has a wear sensor to pause music when you take them off. The XH1 keeps ANC and volume control on the cable, but with the power off it sounds thin, so treat that mode as a backup only. The Space One Pro plays over the cable powered on or off, though its mic stops working once you plug in. That makes the Pro the better pick for a seatback screen on a long flight.
Winner on app and features: the XH1, mainly for Android listeners who want LDAC and multipoint together. The Space One Pro wins only when you plug in a cable.
Durability and what owners report

The Space One Pro packs smaller. Its FlexiCurve headband bends, the cups rotate up to 180°, and it ships with a soft pouch (the hard case cost $34.99 extra at launch). The hinges collapse if you pick it up by one cup, and they’re flimsier than the Space 2’s (0:32).

The XH1’s cups swivel flat and its arms fold up, but the hard case in the box only fits it unfolded (1:03). Its metal hinge is extremely loose, so the cups spin with little or no resistance. Baseus covers it for 24 months, per the manual.
Amazon’s review tallies for the XH1 (4.4 stars from 475 ratings on October 9, 2026) show owners praising the sound (121 of 142 mentions positive), value (76 of 87), comfort (46 of 50), battery (33 of 36) and noise cancelling (33 of 39). Fit draws the most complaints (24 of 40 negative), and build quality splits (8 of 25 negative). One owner’s earcup hinge loosened, and Baseus refunded it. A buzz in some ANC modes, a wind setting that resets and mic trouble on a PC each come from a single owner’s list of negatives. Neither owner reports nor reviews show a pattern of dead units or failing batteries.
Space One Pro owners give it 4.4 stars from 1,378 Amazon ratings (October 9, 2026), and Amazon’s review summary praises sound, noise cancelling, battery and portability and calls fit and durability mixed. Three separate owners report a snapped headband or top section (after six months of light use; both sides of one headband; a break that cost the seal), and two report a headband slider that won’t hold its length. A handful of reports doesn’t make a failure rate, but the XH1 has nothing similar.
Both are current models. Baseus hasn’t announced an XH1 successor. Soundcore still sells the Space One Pro but now lists the Space 2 Pro at the same $199.99, so it could phase the Pro out without much notice.
Winner on durability: the XH1. The Space One Pro packs smaller, but it’s the one with broken-headband reports.

The only head-to-head video
Only one video puts these two through the same playlist, RonOnTech’s Gauntlet episode. It tests music only, with LDAC and his own EQ on both, and skips noise cancelling, calls, comfort and battery. The embed starts at his song-by-song wrap-up.
Alternatives worth a look
Soundcore Space 2 ($129.99 list, $106.99 at Amazon on October 9, 2026). It costs less than the Pro, lasts longer and keeps LDAC on in multipoint over Bluetooth 6.1. It matched the Space One Pro’s 84% noise reduction and ran 53 hours 21 minutes with ANC on in testing, though its transparency mode hisses and RTINGS rates the Pro’s noise cancelling better in common scenarios. In RonOnTech’s Space 2 vs XH1 episode, the Space 2 took app, mics, noise cancelling and the sound test, and the XH1 took only price (verdict at 29:11). Soundcore lists it on soundcore.com.
Soundcore Space One (about $85 in a soundcore.com deal ending October 12). It keeps the wear-sensor auto-pause the Pro dropped, plus LDAC and multipoint (not at the same time). It lasted 42 hours 57 minutes with ANC on in SoundGuys’ test, its mic sounds thin and robotic, and owners report cracked hinges.
Check price on AmazonSony ULT WEAR ($130 to $148 in October 2026). It’s the Space One Pro’s closest rival at its price. Its noise cancelling is excellent, it lasted 44 hours with ANC on in RTINGS’ test, its mic beats the Pro’s, and it folds into an included hard case. It’s as bass-heavy as the Pro (+7 dB), and Sony extended free hinge-crack repairs on early serial numbers to January 31, 2027.
Check price on AmazonCMF Headphone Pro ($59 in October 2026). It costs about $40 less than the XH1. SoundGuys measured 43 hours of ANC-on battery and about 81% noise reduction, and it supports LDAC and multipoint, but you get a cloth pouch and only a 3-band custom EQ.
Check price on AmazonSony WH-CH720N ($72 to $88 in October 2026). At 192 g it’s the lightest option here, for iPhone owners who don’t need strong noise cancelling. RTINGS measured 10.9 dB of airplane-noise reduction from it against 23.5 dB for the WH-1000XM4. Sony replaced it with the WH-CH730N in September 2026, but it still sells new, and my Sony WH-CH720N review has the details.
The Soundcore Space Q45 now sells only renewed in the US (the XH1 vs Soundcore Space Q45 comparison). For stronger noise cancelling on a budget, a used Sony WH-1000XM4 is worth a look (XH1 vs Sony WH-1000XM4). If you want real Bose noise cancelling rather than Bose-tuned sound, see XH1 vs Bose QuietComfort Headphones and XH1 vs Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen). For my picks at every budget, start with my best budget headphones picks.
Which should you buy?
Get the XH1 if
- You can get it for about $100 and the Space One Pro costs $40 or more extra
- You take calls from a desk or a quiet room
- You want the fewest charges (about 48 hours with ANC on in a reviewer's run)
- You're on Android and want LDAC and multipoint at the same time
- You want a hard case in the box
- You sit still for hours and want a light clamp
Get the Space One Pro if
- Noise cancelling on flights and loud trains matters most
- You need it to fold small for a bag
- You want a cable connection that sounds full with a dead battery
- You like big bass and don't mind using the EQ
- You can get it for $120 or less
Skip both for workouts, since neither maker lists an IP rating and both shift when you move, and skip both if you rely on auto-pause, since neither has a wear sensor.
Questions people ask
Is the Baseus Inspire XH1 good?
Yes, at around $100, its October 2026 Amazon price. It lasted about 48 hours with ANC on in CNET's run, and WIRED scored it 8 out of 10. Nearby chatter leaks through its noise cancelling, and the light clamp slips when you move (24 of 40 Amazon fit mentions are negative).
Is the Soundcore Space One Pro good?
Yes, as a travel pair at $140 or less, its October 2026 sale price. Its noise isolation is excellent, it lasted 36.1 hours in RTINGS' battery test, and it folds into a small bundle. Out of the box it pushes the bass up 7 dB, and the mic muffles your voice in moderate noise, so plan on using the EQ and skip it for calls in loud places.
Does the Baseus XH1 have spatial audio?
Yes. Baseus's manual lists Dolby Audio with Music and Cinema modes but no head tracking, and the Space One Pro has a Dolby Audio effect too, which switches off while LDAC is on. I'd leave the XH1's Dolby modes off for music, since they don't flatter it and turning them on replaces your EQ.
Is the Soundcore Space One Pro better than the Space 2?
Not for most buyers. The cheaper Space 2 ($129.99 list) matched its 84% noise reduction in SoundGuys' tests, lasted 53 hours 21 minutes with ANC on and keeps LDAC on in multipoint. The Space One Pro wins on passive isolation, transparency and 1-5 intensity control.
Is the Soundcore Space One the same as the Space One Pro?
No. The Space One (A3035, 2023, about $85 in October 2026) keeps wear-detection auto-pause and a conventional fold, while the Space One Pro (A3062, 2024) adds Adaptive ANC 3.0 with six ANC mics and the compact FlexiCurve fold but drops the wear sensor.
Which has better noise cancelling, the XH1 or the Space One Pro?
For flights I'd bet on the Space One Pro. Nobody has tested the two side by side, but the Pro has lab results behind it (84% average noise reduction in SoundGuys' test, plus excellent isolation), while the XH1 has no published lab numbers and split reviews.

ReviewBaseus Inspire XH1 Review: Is It Worth Buying?
At $100 or less, yes. It's the pair I'd buy for long battery life, comfort and calls, but at its $149.99 list price, or if you fly often, I'd buy stronger noise cancelling instead.

ComparisonBaseus Inspire XH1 vs Soundcore Q45
Buy the Baseus Inspire XH1 new at about $100 (October 2026) for battery life, comfort and calls. The Soundcore Space Q45 still blocks more noise, but in the US it now sells renewed only, so I'd pick it only at $99.99 and only if you fly a lot.
ReviewSoundcore Space Q45 Review: Is It Good Value?
Yes, if you buy it renewed for about $100. New US stock is gone, but the Soundcore Space Q45 still has the strongest noise cancelling in the budget class. Above $100, I'd buy a new Soundcore Space 2 instead.
ReviewSony WH-CH720N Review: Noise Cancelling on a Budget
At $90 or less, the Sony WH-CH720N is the light, long-lasting noise cancelling pair I'd buy for commutes and office days. If you fly often, look at a used WH-1000XM4, and only pay about $148 (October 2026) for the new WH-CH730N if you need a folding headband.
